Andy Warhol: The Bazaar Years

Yesterday I went with my sister to the SHCP Museum to see the exhibit Andy Warhol: The Bazaar Years. Warhol started as an illustrator, and worked with several magazines, one of those was Harper's Bazaar, the illustrations are by far the best ones I've seen in fashion magazines.


The Exhibit shows replicas of his work with Harper's Bazaar magazine through thirteen years (1951-1964). Here are some Photos I took ("real" photos taken with a "real" camera this time, hehe).

Instagram madness!!

I'm not a fan of pictures taken by phones, I'm the kind of person who thinks that, if you have a baby, or a wedding or whatever that's important, you should always (ALWAYS) capture the moment with something that's designed and made specifically with the purpose of taking photos (or video).

But I can't deny that when it comes to take photos of whatever you want to in an every day routine, phones are quite handy, and I must say I've fallen for an app that lot of people love, and of course an app that a lot of people hate, which is "Instagram".

I like taking pictures of silly things, let's face it, they look nice!, the only thing that we should keep in mind is that you can take pretty pictures, but that doesn't mean you're a photographer nor an artist (that goes whether you're using a phone or a camera), so, at the end, the idea of using this kind of apps is to have fun!.

New Blog

As I had problems with my previous host (well, the thing is that I had to cancel it because I couldn't afford it anymore) i decided to open my blog here because I follow so many good blogs that are hosted here, so it gave me a perfect excuse :)

I'll be adding the regular stuff as soon as possible!!!
